How much does it cost?

Full access is $29 — a one-time payment. No subscription, no recurring charges. You get 30-day access from your purchase date. You can also try 10 free questions before purchasing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes! Take our free 10-question sample exam. Questions across categories including NGN formats. No credit card required — just enter your name and email.

Do you provide answer rationales?

Yes. Every single question includes a detailed rationale explaining why the correct answer is right and why the other options are wrong. This is where the real learning happens.

What question types are included?

We include all Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) question formats: bow-tie clinical judgment, extended multiple response, trend analysis, cloze/drop-down, matrix/grid, and highlight/enhanced hot spot — plus traditional multiple choice and SATA. All 618 NGN questions are mapped to NCSBN's Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (CJMM) and updated for the April 2026 test plan.

What are NGN case studies?

Next Generation NCLEX case studies present a single patient scenario followed by 6 linked clinical judgment questions in different formats (bow-tie, trend analysis, matrix, etc.). The real NCLEX includes 3 case studies with 6 questions each. NCLEX PrePro includes 42 complete case study scenarios covering the highest-yield clinical situations: sepsis, stroke, DKA, heart failure, pediatric asthma, acute kidney injury, postpartum hemorrhage, and 13 more.

Is NCLEX PrePro updated for the April 2026 test plan?

Yes. The NCSBN updated the NCLEX test plan effective April 1, 2026. Our question bank includes NGN questions aligned with the new emphasis on clinical judgment, updated content category weightings, and the CJMM framework. We recommend confirming the latest specifications at ncsbn.org.

How does NCLEX PrePro compare to UWorld or Archer Review?

UWorld ranges from $139–449 and Archer Review ranges from $59–399. We offer 5,000+ questions including 42 full NGN clinical case studies — the same format used on the real NCLEX — for $29 one-time. We're the most affordable platform with full NGN case study coverage at this price point (based on publicly available pricing). Our bow-tie, matrix, and trend questions are mapped to the NCSBN CJMM framework and updated for the April 2026 test plan.

Does access expire?

Once you purchase full access, you have full access for 30 days. Need more time? Simply purchase again. Come back and retake the practice tests as many times as you want during your access period.

Can I use NCLEX PrePro on my phone?

Yes. NCLEX PrePro is fully responsive and works on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. No app download required.

Is this enough to pass the NCLEX?

NCLEX PrePro is a practice question bank, not a comprehensive review course. We recommend using it alongside a content review resource (like Saunders or ATI). Our questions are designed to build clinical judgment and test-taking skills — which is what the NCLEX actually tests.

What if I just failed the NCLEX?

You're not alone — 18% of first-time takers don't pass. Use your Candidate Performance Report (CPR) to identify weak areas, then focus your practice on those categories. Our question bank lets you practice by category so you can target exactly where you need improvement. Read our guide: What Happens If You Fail the NCLEX? ←’
